Gallery Weekend Berlin is one of the leading events for contemporary art in Germany and invites visitors to take a tour of Berlin's creative scene. In 2026, Gallery Weekend will take place for the 22nd time and has developed into a strong sales event on the art market.
Spring Festival: Späth'er Frühling
9 and 10 May 2026
Over 100 exhibitors invite you to a gardening weekend with a walk in the Späth's tree nurseries in Treptow-Köpenick. Visitors can expect 300 varieties of tulips from all over the world, moderated expert discussions on the topic of gardening, a stage with live music, a children's programme and theatre performances, as well as a wide range of culinary delights. Of course, various plants will also be available for purchase.
Berlin Women's Run

The Berlin Women's Run in Tiergarten is the largest charity women's run in Germany. In 2025, it took place for the 40th time. In addition to the classic 10-kilometre distance through the Tiergarten, there are also 5 and 10-kilometre walking or Nordic walking events and a 5-kilometre fun run with or without timekeeping. There is also a Bambini run.
Carnival of Cultures
22 to 25 May 2026
At the Carnival of Cultures, colourful and multicultural Berlin shows off its singing and dancing side. Over four days of festivities, Berliners and tourists experience the capital at its best: cosmopolitan and international, dynamic and lively, diverse and colourful. Every year since 1995, over 500,000 people have celebrated the city's colourful mix at Whitsun.
State Opera for All
24 May 2026
‘State Opera for All’ offers a wide audience the highest artistic standards and immediately became a highly acclaimed highlight of Berlin's cultural life with a national appeal. The open-air concert by the Staatskapelle Berlin conducted by Christian Thielemann on Bebelplatz is one of the most atmospheric and successful events in the city's cultural calendar. Admission is free.
Berlin Design Week

Design Week sees design as a driving force for social and ecological change. Every spring, designers, artists, companies and universities present new approaches and fresh ideas. The motto for 2026 is Common Sense.
