The Long Night of Museums 2025 in Berlin – A celebration of love and culture

On 30 August 2025, Berlin will once again be transformed into a vibrant stage for art, history and encounters. The 43rd Long Night of Museums will be held under the motto "Love in Berlin" and invites visitors to embark on a cultural journey of discovery through the capital from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Motto for 2025: "Love in Berlin"
The theme runs like a thread through the entire programme:
Exhibitions and installations are dedicated to love in all its facets – from romantic stories to social bonds and unusual passions. The DDR Museum, for example, sheds light on love in socialist society, from the famous ‘brotherly kiss’ to personal pen friendships between GDR and Soviet schoolchildren. On Museum Island, there are performances, readings and interactive activities that creatively interpret the theme.

75 museums – 750 events
With just one ticket, visitors get access to 75 museums and over 750 events. These include:
+ Great classics such as the Pergamon Museum, the Old National Gallery and the Bode Museum.
+ Specialised museums such as the Anti-War Museum and the Sugar Museum.
+ Open-air stages with concerts, DJ sets and performances.
